- The ideal candidate has over 17+ years of experience in medical coding, with expertise in managing large teams and a proven track record of leadership.
- Certification from AAPC or AHIMA is essential, along with strong client handling skills, industry knowledge, and excellent communication abilities.
- Oversight of daily operations, including workload management, staffing, training, and quality control.
- Development of strategic plans, objectives, and programs, ensuring timely implementation.
- Evaluation of the impact of innovations and changes on the coding unit.
- Design and implementation of systems for improved data accessibility and identification, assessment, and resolution of problems.
- Monitoring of coding compliance and development of educational programs for staff on accurate coding and documentation.

- Conduct of trend analyses and review of claim denials and rejections related to coding and medical necessity issues.
- Graduate degree (preferably in Life Science)
- 17+ years of multispecialty coding experience and substantial team management expertise
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong managerial, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Hands-on experience with MS Office tools
