Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst.

  • Job Role and Responsibilities:
  • · Prepare and analyze historical financial statements in MS-Excel.
  • · Possess a strong understanding of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and financial ratios to assess the financial performance of public and private companies.
  • · Identify key performance indicators (KPIs), emerging trends, relevant industry updates, competitive environments, associated risks, and relevant valuation metrics to provide an overview and conclude investment theses on covered companies.
  • · Develop a detailed understanding of financial projections based on financial statements, management briefings, company budgets, and estimates. This includes normalizing financial statements, creating various scenarios such as management cases, sponsor cases, upside, and downside cases.
  • · Have a strong understanding of various classes of debt and financing options used by borrowers for deals. Prepare liquidation-based recovery analyses for various debt pieces using recovery values for each asset type.
  • · Conduct extensive company valuations involving approaches like discounted cash flow (DCF), dividend discount model (DDM), trading multiples, and economic value added (EVA).
  • · Prepare company profiles, analytical reports/decks, earnings and flash notes, quarterly updates, coverage, sector, and theme-based reports, newsletters, technology primers, etc.
  • · Handle ad-hoc research requests and support other team members.
  • Qualifications:
  • · Hold a CA/CFA certification with 4-6 years of experience in financial modeling, LBO models, DCF/relative valuations.
  • · Possess excellent problem-solving skills, ability to identify and solve issues effectively within deadlines.
  • · Demonstrate strong accounting, financial analysis skills, and English writing skills.
  • · Showcase excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
