Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Animation Supervisor to mentor and direct our artists in the field of Animation.

  • Duties:
  • Provide software training for Film and Advertising needs using Autodesk Maya & Blender.
  • Prioritize teaching on Animation & Rigging in various styles, from realistic to cartoonish.
  • Create animation and rigging solutions for integration between Autodesk Maya and Blender.
  • Deliver effective teaching to enhance individual skills.
  • Share experience as an Animator and Rigger in global cinema.
Required Skills
  • Mastery: animation and rigging using Blender and Maya software.
  • Animation Principles: apply principles flexibly, especially in realistic or semi-realistic character animation.
  • Animation Workflows & Pipelines: mastery of workflows and pipelines.
  • Problem-Solving: address animation issues independently of tools.
  • Adaptability: adjust animation style to suit the project (realistic, cartoonish, stylized, etc.).
  • Anatomy & Deformation: mastery and understanding of living creatures.
  • Rigging: create rigs that facilitate animators (controllers and sliders).
  • Style Adaptation: adapt rigs to animation styles (cartoonish, realistic, etc.).
  • Mentoring: mentor junior animators and riggers, then review results.

  • Weekly Reviews: provide individually or in groups (remotely via GMeet or Zoom).
  • Training Assignments: assist in designing and providing feedback.
  • Available Hours: approximately 5-10 hours/week.
  • Work Environment: work remotely only.
  • Remuneration: paid hourly/weekly (flexible).
