Structural Design Expert for Oil and Gas Industry

As a Structural Design Expert in the oil and gas industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, cost-effectiveness, and structural soundness of all civil and structural assets.

This highly specialized position involves end-to-end design, analysis, and integrity management of complex facilities. You will cover initial conceptual studies to detailed engineering, and ongoing operational support for both greenfield and brownfield projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced structural analysis and design for both reinforced concrete and steel structures.
  • Design specialized foundations, such as dynamic foundations for large rotating machinery, and pile foundations for complex structures.
  • Conduct comprehensive in-place, fatigue, seismic, and blast analysis for both onshore and offshore structures.

You will utilize advanced engineering software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SACS, ABAQUS, Navisworks) for structural analysis, simulation, and 3D modeling.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in a high-risk industry, preferably in oil and gas, petrochemicals, or energy.
  • Proven experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects, covering all project phases from FEED to commissioning.

As a Structural Design Expert, you must have expertise in the design of complex structures, dynamic analysis of equipment foundations, fatigue, seismic, and blast-resistant design. You should also have in-depth knowledge of international codes, including API, AISC, ASME, and other relevant standards.
