Transaction Legal Support Specialist

Seeking a seasoned professional to provide legal support from inception to closure on corporate M&A, joint ventures, and strategic investments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing definitive agreements, negotiating with counterparties, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support for M&A, JV, and strategic investment transactions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate definitive agreements
  • Liaise with internal teams, external legal counsels, and counterparties on structuring and risk mitigation
  • Oversee legal due diligence processes across target companies and assets
  • Identify key legal risks and provide strategic recommendations to the deal team
  • Provide legal advice on entity structures, cross-border transactions, and regulatory considerations
  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, and other applicable corporate laws

Qualifications & Skills:

  • LLB or equivalent law degree from a reputed institution
  • 8+ years of post-qualification experience in a legal role within a corporate M&A or investment context (preferably in-house or with top-tier law firms)
  • Exposure to structured finance, cross-border transactions, and regulatory filings
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • Ability to handle fast-paced, high-value, and confidential transactions with precision
