Public Relations Manager

Decathlon is seeking a skilled Public Relations Manager to join our Marketing & Communication team in India. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic PR campaigns to drive brand awareness and reputation.
Responsibilities:
\t- Develop and implement comprehensive PR campaigns to promote Decathlon’s brand and products.
\t - Collaborate with PR agencies to ensure alignment with our communication strategy and objectives.
\t - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, influencers, and internal teams.
\t - Manage media relations, including securing press coverage and crafting press releases.
\t - Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing regular reports to management.
\t - Develop and implement crisis communication strategies to mitigate negative publicity.
\t - Plan and execute PR events, including press conferences and product launches.
Requirements:
\t- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
\t - Minimum 3 years of experience in public relations, preferably in a consumer-facing industry.
\t - Proven experience working with PR agencies and managing media relations.
\t - Strong understanding of the Indian media landscape and experience in handling both traditional and digital media.
\t - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
\t - Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and leveraging PR opportunities.
\t - Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
\t - Passion for sports and an understanding of Decathlon’s mission and values.
