Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud architectures using open-source cloud orchestrators, virtualization, and automation technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and proposing cloud architecture using opensource cloud orchestrators (Primarily CloudStack), Virtualization and automation technology in a complex multi-tenant environment.
  • Engaging with customers and prospects to demonstrate solutions and effectively communicate key differentiators.
  • Assisting customers with initial product evaluations and testing to set the stage for successful implementation.
  • Connecting technical requirements of projects with business requirements to ensure project success.
  • Responding to RFIs or RFPs, communicating Product's differentiators.
  • Preparing and delivering differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals.
  • Managing and/or delivering technical validation activities including Proof Of Concepts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with implementation of cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Thorough understanding of Cloud Technologies & Concepts, working knowledge in at least one of the leading Private Cloud Platforms like VCloud, OpenStack, CloudStack etc.
  • Thorough understanding of Virtualization concepts of the leading hypervisors (ESXi/KVM).
  • Thorough understanding of container technologies, especially Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security.
  • Knowledge of other enterprise products and solutions like Storage, Security and Compute solutions.
  • Excellent written communication skills, experience of preparing technical proposals, RFP responses and BoQs.
  • High Excellent presentation skills and composure in front of all levels of technical and business customers or prospects.
  • Ability to work within dynamic and fast-paced international environment.
  • Proven experience of managing Proof Of Concept activities for customers in the Cloud Domain.
  • Takes responsibility for projects and strategic initiatives.
