Cloud Solutions Architect Position

This role entails designing and implementing robust cloud architectures that align with business requirements while ensuring the highest level of security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Define cloud architecture standards, patterns, and best practices for the organization.
  • Lead initiatives to migrate applications to the cloud and modernize legacy infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing enterprise systems.
  • Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using tools like Prometheus, ELK, or CloudWatch.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers on cloud technologies.
  • Act as a point of contact for cloud-related decision-making and problem resolution.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and IT operations. Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and governance is essential for this position.

Requirements & Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10-12 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture and services.
  • Expertise in DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform.
  • Deep understanding of networking, Linux/Windows servers, and IT operations.
  • Strong grasp of cloud architecture principles, security best practices, and DevSecOps integration.
  • Experience implementing and managing Kubernetes at scale (EKS, AKS, or self-managed), including security and lifecycle management.
  • Skilled in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go.
  • Proficiency in monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
  • Experience with config management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Strong leadership in incident management, RCA, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and keeping up with emerging trends in cloud-native technologies.
