Chief CAD Architect

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design group, you will be responsible for creating accurate, manufacturable designs for compact multi-component hardware.
Key responsibilities include designing enclosures, mounts, and housings, as well as incorporating mounting points, ventilation, cable routing, and weight optimization into designs. You will also prepare STEP, DXF, and annotated drawings for prototyping and manufacturing.
A strong foundation in CAD design software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or similar) is essential, along with knowledge of 3D printing, CNC machining, and sheet metal fabrication processes.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure designs meet mechanical, thermal, and assembly requirements. Iterating designs based on testing feedback is crucial to achieving reliable and robust builds.
To succeed in this position, you must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field, along with 2+ years of CAD design experience. Strong skills in dimensioning, tolerancing, and interpreting technical drawings are also required.
