Job Title: Linux Software Repository Maintainer

Our company is seeking a highly skilled individual to take on the role of Linux Software Repository Maintainer. This position requires expertise in ensuring the integrity of software repositories, and we are looking for someone with a strong background in Linux and bash scripting.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux, bash scripting, C, and Python, as well as proficiency in compiling and creating software from source code, and managing software dependencies. They should also be proficient in patching and providing software patches, understanding and creating Makefiles, and monitoring and staying current with CVEs.

Additional requirements include fluency in English with good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of Slackware Linux is a plus. This is a full-time contract job for 1 year, working from home. The candidate will sign a legal agreement including NDA and NCA.
