Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced database professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience in database administration, development or related roles with extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities include overseeing the installation, configuration and maintenance of PostgreSQL database systems, monitoring database performance and implementing security measures.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for designing and implementing logical and physical database models, normalizing database schemas and defining relationships between tables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Administration:
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of PostgreSQL database systems
  • Performance tuning, optimization and troubleshooting of PostgreSQL databases
  • Implementing and maintaining database security measures
  • Database Development:
  • Design and implementation of database schemas, data models and indexing strategies
  • Development and maintenance of database scripts, stored procedures, functions and triggers
Requirements
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in database administration, development or related roles
  • PostgreSQL-related certifications preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with cloud database services
  • Knowledge of SQL query optimization techniques
  • Experience with database design and modeling tools
