Senior QA Specialist: Trading Platforms

We are seeking a seasoned expert to join our team in the role of Principal Consultant, specializing in Quality Assurance (QA) activities for our Trading Platforms.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in QA for financial or trading applications, expertise in Endur/Findur, and a deep understanding of trading operations.
This senior-level position requires close collaboration with development teams, business stakeholders, and QA teams to drive testing strategies, identify risks, and provide valuable insights into platform improvements while adhering to best practices in IT and QA processes.
Responsibilities- Lead and execute QA activities on the Trading Platform ensuring functionality, performance, and stability across various environments.
- Own and manage the QA lifecycle including planning, test case development, execution, and defect management.
- Work closely with trading and IT teams to understand system requirements, user needs, and business processes to identify critical areas for testing.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies for Endur and related tools including integration, regression, functional, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to ensure proper testing coverage for new functionalities, features, and system integrations.
- Leverage knowledge of Endur to identify potential risks, assess system behavior, and ensure critical trading workflows are functioning correctly.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members providing support for both technical and non-technical issues.
- Define and implement QA best practices, standards, and methodologies across all projects.
- Ensure test data integrity, environments, and processes maintaining high testing quality and accuracy.
- Support user acceptance testing and assist with training and knowledge transfer for internal stakeholders.
- Identify and document defects, track issues to resolution, and ensure timely delivery of quality software.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives evaluating current QA practices and recommending process improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to improve overall QA processes.
