This role is an exciting opportunity to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and software development. As a key player in this space, you will be responsible for innovating on large language models, prompt systems, evaluation frameworks, and algorithm pipelines.

You will author experimental prototypes that are rich enough for academic-quality write-ups and then productize those same ideas into robust, reliable software. This requires a unique blend of technical expertise and scientific rigor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tackle experiments in LLM training, LLM agent architectures, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and new evaluation methodologies to drive innovation and advancement in the field.
  • Build code-first prototypes to test hypotheses and iterate rapidly, refactoring them into production systems when experiments succeed. This involves leveraging your skills in software engineering and modular design.
  • Develop and benchmark improvements in LLM architecture, fine-tuning workflows, and generation control to optimize for performance, resource efficiency, and interpretability.
  • Owning infrastructure from data pipelines and experiment sandbox to model serving, batch/online inference, logging, and CI/CD requires strong technical expertise and system thinking.
  • Create frameworks to automate scientific cycles: data generation, metric computation, model comparison dashboards. This enables internal teams to run reproducible experiments at scale.

Requirements:
  • A Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Deep familiarity with large language models, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and their applications.
  • Expertise in Python and popular frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX; experience with Hugging Face or deployed LLM APIs.
  • Strong software engineering intuition, including modular design, CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.
  • Demonstrated track record in both research and production settings.
  • Bonus: familiarity with Kubernetes, JAX compiler stacks, Hugging Face Accelerate, or MLOps toolchains.
