  • Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe COBOL, DB2, and JCL in a z/OS environment.
  • Familiarity with VSAM and CICS, as well as knowledge of SAS and IBM IDZ, are highly advantageous.
  • The selected professional will be responsible for project life cycle phases including analysis, design, programming, and implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision is required.
  • This position involves working on complex issues that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Experience with IBM Debug tool for z/OS, IBM Fault Analyzer, IBM File Manager, IBM Application Performance Analyzer, and SPUFI is necessary.
  • Knowledge of ticketing tools like ServiceNow is also beneficial.
  • Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management concepts should be familiar to the candidate.
  • Providing L2/L3 production support, attending production calls, and collaborating with other teams are key responsibilities.
