System Resiliency Engineer

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced System Resiliency Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing resiliency-focused testing strategies for enterprise-grade applications and infrastructure.

Description:

  • The System Resiliency Engineer will develop, execute, and maintain test plans, scripts, and scenarios that validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.
  • This role requires the ability to perform stress, load, chaos, and failure testing to simulate real-world disruptions and uncover vulnerabilities.
  • The engineer will analyze test results to provide actionable insights and risk assessments to engineering and leadership teams.
  • In addition, the System Resiliency Engineer will conduct root cause analysis on test failures and collaborate with teams to recommend improvements in design or operations.

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience in software testing, QA, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.
  • A strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems is required.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Apache JMeter and Rational Performance Tester is necessary.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages Python and Java is essential.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues are required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams are necessary.
