About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished data expert with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and lakehouse architectures.

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics for complex data processing and analysis.
  • Become proficient in designing and optimizing lakehouse architectures on Azure using Delta Lake for enhanced data management and integration.
  • Leverage Azure services such as Data Lake Storage Gen2, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, and Key Vault to deliver secure and reliable data solutions.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Bicep for automated provisioning and configuration to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Data Ingestion, Transformation, and Orchestration Workflows from Diverse Sources for seamless data flow and analysis.
  • Data Quality, Consistency, and Security Across the Data Lifecycle to ensure accurate and trustworthy insights.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams to Deliver Robust, Secure, and High-Performance Data Solutions that drive business growth.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Expert-Level Experience with Azure Data Services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage for advanced data processing and analytics.
  • Strong Proficiency in SQL for Complex Transformations and Performance Tuning to optimize database performance.
  • Advanced Python Skills for Data Pipeline Development and Orchestration to automate repetitive tasks and improve productivity.

A Growth Mindset and Collaboration Skills are Essential for Success.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Equivalent for proof of expertise.
  • Experience with Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, or MLflow is a Plus for added value.
