Scalable Data Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Solutions Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows.

  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas, SQLAlchemy) and hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL and knowledge of data quality and integrity practices through validation frameworks or custom logic is essential.
  • Experience working with data warehouses such as PostgreSQL, Redshift, or BigQuery and ability to develop and maintain data models and materialised views is necessary.
  • Proficiency in version control using Git and familiarity with Docker and virtual environments is a plus.

As a Data Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and workflows. You will ensure high data quality and seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and workflows

  • Implementing automation for recurring data tasks, error logging, and alerts
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify data requirements and implement solutions

Requirements:

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
  • Strong experience in Python and hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL
  • Knowledge of data quality and integrity practices through validation frameworks or custom logic
  • Experience working with data warehouses such as PostgreSQL, Redshift, or BigQuery
  • Ability to develop and maintain data models and materialised views
