Chief Procurement Officer

As a Procurement Strategist, you will lead the procurement function for our Air Pollution Control business, developing and executing effective sourcing strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services. Your strong governance and compliance skills will be instrumental in driving project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and project timelines.
- Drive bulk buying and project-based procurement for long lead items and engineered bought-outs.
- Establish rate contracts, manage e-auctioning platforms, and oversee price benchmarking for strategic categories.
- Analyze spend data and identify cost optimization opportunities using advanced analytics tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Production Engineering or related field, with an MBA (preferred).
- At least 15-20 years of experience in project procurement, with 5-7 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial terms, technical specifications, and INCO terms.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, Power BI, and PLM platforms.
