Technical Documentation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Documentation Specialist to develop instructional documentation and manage projects across various systems. As part of our cross-functional team, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to understand their needs in developing and maintaining high-quality documentation that meets established standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for customers, technical staff, managers, executives, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Document processes and procedures using clear and concise language.
  • Restructure information for improved approach to problems or tasks.
  • Break down complex information into accessible concepts suitable for the target audience.
  • Represent information in visual/graphical forms that augment textual descriptions.
  • Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and usage.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience documenting instructions for software/development/related processes.
  • Project management skills, such as organizing multiple documentation projects.
  • Experience using graphics/illustration software.

Required Skills:

  • Fluency in common Microsoft Office software (mainly Word).
