Senior Vice President of Global Communications

As a leader in the hospitality industry, we are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Vice President of Global Communications.

This is a senior leadership position that requires strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive business outcomes through effective communication.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives. This includes:

• Developing and executing a communications plan that drives brand awareness and engagement
• Leading a team of communications professionals to ensure consistent messaging and tone across all channels
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of communications initiatives
• Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform communications strategies

The Senior Vice President of Global Communications will have the following key responsibilities:

• Drive brand positioning through clearly defined and precisely executed communication actions
• Develop and implement the communication strategy, including implementation and outcomes for the company
• Survey, review, and analyze competitive trends, market trends, customer needs, and feedback to inform changes to product, service, and brand offerings
• Work closely with the company to develop and execute quarterly communication plans
• Manage the communication budget in conjunction with the Chief Commercial Officer
• Support and promote Managing Directors through targeted media exposure, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement
• Understand regional and global markets and trends that affect the business
• Actively promote the company and leadership team via key media relations
• Manage Communications contracts with external agencies
• Enhance the profile of Managing Directors through strategic media opportunities, speaking engagements, and thought-leadership content
• Create strong relationships with key media in main source markets
• Prioritize support and assistance for new signings and openings
• Work closely with Managing Directors to craft and deliver impactful communication strategies
• Identify and manage potential sponsorship agreements and commercial affiliations
• Participate in community and professional organizations to represent and promote the Company
• Possess strong presentation skills, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and take initiative
• Geographical mobility in both long- and short-term situations
• Perform well under stress and be adaptable to changing work environments
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
• English required, as well as other language skills according to the region's needs

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in communications, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record of driving business outcomes through effective communication
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English, with additional languages an asset
