We are seeking a skilled engineer to provide production support for our applications built using Java, Microservices, Kafka, and databases like MongoDB and SQL.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability and minimizing downtime, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application performance, system outages, and user queries.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in production support roles, with expertise in Java, Microservices, Kafka, and databases (both SQL and NoSQL such as MongoDB).

Additionally, the candidate should have strong experience with Dynatrace or similar application monitoring and performance management tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide production support for applications.
  • Ensure high availability and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, system outages, and user queries.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes of incidents.
  • Use Dynatrace and other monitoring tools to proactively monitor the health of applications.
  • Manage and resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and preventive measures.
  • Assist in configuration changes and deployments in a production environment.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and enhance system performance.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in production support roles.
  • Expertise in Java, Microservices, Kafka, and databases.
  • Strong experience with Dynatrace or similar application monitoring and performance management tools.
  • Hands-on experience supporting mission-critical applications in a production environment.
