Job Opportunity:

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing and maintaining large-scale data processing systems on Azure.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement data warehousing solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (ADB), PySpark, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data engineering solutions with business applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using ADF and PySpark.
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Databricks (ADB).
  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models using Azure Machine Learning.
  • Ensure data security, quality, and integrity throughout the data engineering lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks (ADB).
  • Strong understanding of data processing frameworks such as PySpark and SQL.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C#.
  • Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions such as Azure Blob Storage and Azure Data Lake Storage.
