Lead Process Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality services to Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Process industries.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing complex dynamic simulation process models: You will use Simulation and Optimization tools to develop smart applications that drive business growth.
• Understanding and analyzing project requirements: You will translate project requirements into specifications and deliverables that meet our clients' needs.
• Producing timely and high-quality project delivery: You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Building and configuring dynamic process and flow models: You will design and configure dynamic process and flow models for Oil & Gas Process.
• Running simulations for various scenarios: You will run simulations using built models to analyze different scenarios.
• Carrying out dynamic process and control studies: You will conduct dynamic process and control studies to optimize business operations.
• Performing optimization and de-bottlenecking studies: You will identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency.
• Assisting with Flow Assurance model building: You will assist in building Flow Assurance models for Real-time production assurance systems.
• Executing OTS projects: You will work with project teams to execute end-to-end design & delivery for Refinery, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other customers.
• Managing development of functional and concept technical design specifications: You will lead the development of functional and concept technical design specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a Senior Process Engineer, you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering - Master's degree is preferred.
• 8+ years' experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations / process controls / process Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with one of the following skill sets: Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring and First Principal modelling.
• Proficiency in modeling tools such as Aspen Hysys, Aspen GDOT, KBC Petrosim, Technip Spyro etc.
• Knowledge of Real Time Optimization applications like ROMeo.
• Experience with APC applications like Rockwell Pavilion, Yokogawa smoc, Honeywell RMPCT, ASPEN DMC plus.
• Certification on modeling and simulation platform Aspen Plus / Hysys / Pro-II / Dynsim , etc. will be an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and control logics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong domain knowledge & Chemical Engineering principles and operations.
• Good communication, writing & presentation skills.
• Knowledge of DCS and ESD will be added advantage.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Strong ability to maintain good working relationships with customers.
