Senior AI Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Developer to join our project in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have +5/+7 years of experience in AI development and be fluent in English.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated contractor who is passionate about AI and machine learning. The role involves working on a full remote basis, using Large Language Models (LLMs) & Prompt Engineering, Azure Document Intelligence, and other advanced technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor or Master degree;
  • +5/+7 years of AI Development experience;
  • Large Language Models (LLMs) & Prompt Engineering: Experience working with transformer-based models (e.g., GPT, BERT) and crafting effective prompts for tasks like summarization, text classification and document understanding;
  • Azure Document Intelligence: Hands-on experience with Azure AI Document Intelligence for extracting structured data from unstructured documents (invoices, forms, contracts);
  • Model Development & Evaluation: Strong foundation in ML algorithms, model evaluation metrics, and hyperparameter tuning using tools like Scikit-learn, XGBoost, or PyTorch;
  • MLOps (Machine Learning Operations): Proficient in building and managing ML pipelines using Azure ML, MLflow, and CI/CD tools for model training, deployment, and monitoring;
  • Azure Machine Learning (Azure ML): Experience with Azure ML Studio, automated ML, model registry, and deployment to endpoints or containers;
  • Azure Functions & Serverless AI: Building event-driven AI workflows using Azure Functions for real-time inference, data processing, and integration with other Azure services;
  • Programming Languages: Strong coding skills in Python (preferred), with knowledge of libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib;
  • Database & Data Lakes: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, and integration with data lakes for AI pipelines;
  • DevOps & Git Integration: Experience with Azure DevOps for version control, testing, and continuous integration of AI workflows;
  • Fluent in English;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree;
  • +5/+7 years of AI Development experience;
  • Knowledge of large language models and prompt engineering;
  • Experience with Azure Document Intelligence and model development;
  • Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in relevant libraries;
  • Good understanding of database and data lake concepts;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
