Job Summary:

• The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for defining and managing the organization's IT infrastructure, applications, hardware, network systems, and digitalization processes.
• Works inside factory grounds in Vemagal Industrial Area Kolar, Karnataka.
• Performs tasks and instructions given by senior management and in line with established IT guidelines and policies.
• Has overall responsibility and accountability for IT and digitalization-related functions, including people management.
• Provides IT support, guides IT Support Specialists, addresses, and resolves IT issues.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and manages the annual IT Infrastructure CAPEX/OPEX budget.
• Operates, monitors, and develops SAP S4/HANA systems.
• Defines IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes for the subsidiary, aligning with group guidelines.
• Rolls out Global IT initiatives, aligned with the Global IT team.
• Manages purchasing, installation, and rollout processes for IT hardware, aligned with Global guidelines.
• Responsible for technical requirements for purchasing and service contracts for IT infrastructure, aligned with the Global IT team.
• Ensures local IT infrastructure performance, availability, security, and continuity.
• Proposes and coordinates deployment and maintenance of IT Hardware and Network solutions.
• Monitors IT infrastructure and network performance, recommending improvements as required.
• Analyzes business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders to define IT infrastructure needs.
• Troubleshoots hardware and software issues related to internal IT and acts as IT support lead for assigned organizations.
• Adapts and integrates group IT guidelines and policies into the region.
• Serves as liaison between business units and technical IT teams.
• Responsible for local/ regional technical operations of IT solutions.
• Acts as local IT Security Manager, completing system audits and assessments, building awareness around information technology security and protection, and implementing risk mitigation measures.
• Manages IT-related incidents, service requests, and changes, providing guidance and support to IT Support specialists.
• Defines and manages Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a similar field.
• At least 7+ years of work experience in an international business environment in a comparable position.
• Experience with SAP-related systems such as S4/HANA, B1, R3.
• Proven working experience as an IT Manager or other relevant experience.
• Experience in working in a Factory setup and exposure to managing IT setup for OT environments is preferred.
• Experience in leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.
• Expertise in data center management and data governance.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR, cyber security, and other IT compliance standards.
• Any exposure to leading digitalization initiatives like smart factory and automation will be an added advantage.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills, team collaboration, and leading projects and teams virtually.
• Excellent project management skills and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
