Cloud Architect Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in AWS services and architecture, with a solid understanding of networking concepts and experience with Infrastructure as Code.

The successful Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS, managing and optimizing cloud resources, and implementing security best practices. Additionally, they will develop automation scripts using Python or Bash to streamline cloud operations and collaborate with development teams to migrate applications to the cloud and optimize performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS
  • Managing and optimizing cloud resources, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC
  • Implementing and maintaining security best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption
  • Developing automation scripts using Python or Bash to streamline cloud operations
  • Collaborating with development teams to migrate applications to the cloud and optimize performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • 5-9 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
  • Deep expertise in AWS services and architecture
  • AWS certification is a plus
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues
