About the Role

Husk Power is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Visionary to lead our digital design efforts. This exciting opportunity requires a talented individual with 5-7 years of experience in graphic design, capable of working independently as an individual contributor while also leading and mentoring a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Development: Conceptualize and create visually appealing designs for digital assets including website graphics, social media posts, infographics, presentations, and marketing collaterals.
  • Visual Storytelling: Incorporate video editing into design projects, ensuring high-quality multimedia content for various platforms.
  • Brand Identity: Lead the development of brand identity, style guides, and design standards to ensure consistency across all marketing channels and communications.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing and content teams to translate concepts and ideas into compelling visual stories that resonate with target audiences.
  • Project Management: Manage and prioritize design projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality assets that meet project objectives and business requirements.
  • Mentorship: Provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance design capabilities and elevate visual storytelling.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, UX/UI, and sales to support various design needs and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of 4-6 years in graphic design with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other design tools.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design solutions across digital and print media.
  • Excellent conceptualization, typography, and layout skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership qualities with experience in mentoring and guiding junior designers.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate and present design concepts effectively.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$105,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Husk Power offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
