Job Title: Livelihood Program Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and prioritize tasks effectively to deliver impactful livelihood activities.
  • Uphold quality standards, ensuring timely and effective implementation of project interventions in alignment with the activity plan and design.
  • Develop detailed implementation plans and budgets; support project teams in achieving defined objectives and targets.

  • Cultivate knowledge management products showcasing project impact, such as case studies, success stories, technical manuals, and booklets.
  • Refine strategies and approaches for greater impact and scalability through reflective practices.

Role Overview:

  • Establish women-led Plastic Collection Centers and Collection Points within waste collector communities, leveraging partnerships with government bodies, private sector actors, and technical institutions.
  • Launch e-tricycle-based plastic waste collection initiatives, providing skill training and market linkages to ensure decent income opportunities for target groups.
  • Foster institutional linkages at the district level with banks, incubator/accelerator programs, retail outlets, and e-commerce platforms for financial and marketing support.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader PFC team and external partners to achieve optimal project outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master's degree in Social Work/Sciences, Entrepreneurship Development, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing livelihood or income generation programs in the social sector, with a strong understanding of poverty, governance, and advocacy contexts.
  • Proven analytical, financial, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong documentation and report writing skills, with proficiency in MS Office and other ICT tools.
  • Fluency in Telugu and English is essential, with knowledge of Hindi being a plus.
