Strategic Vendor Relationship Manager

As a key member of the HCM Vendor Management team at Goldman Sachs, you will play a critical role in managing high-impact strategic vendor relationships. Your responsibilities will include sourcing engagement, contracting, onboarding, and managing spend, ensuring all up-vendor governance is in place.
Our Impact
Our team is a high-impact group responsible for covering the HCM vendor landscape. Over the past year, we have identified and highlighted vendor cost leakages and recovered vendor overcharges through robust validation controls. We track and govern 300+ vendor risks quarterly and manage strategic vendor relationships.
How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
• Monitor vendor performance by tracking key SLAs and KPIs
• Drive vendor governance through monthly and quarterly business reviews
• Support the HCM Vendor Risk Management and Governance program to monitor ongoing risks and drive remediation of open risks
• Govern sourcing and vendor onboarding on tools like KY3P and Ariba
• Drive vendor spend analysis and MIS reporting
• Collaborate with Sourcing and Legal to manage contract changes, renewals, and negotiations
• Leverage strong communication and relationship-building skills to interact with internal clients and global colleagues
Skills and Experience We're Looking For
• 5-8 years of experience in vendor management and governance, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with internal clients and global colleagues
• Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to leverage data to drive process enhancements
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, with exceptional time management
• Ability to present data, reporting, and dashboards, with experience in tools like KY3P and Ariba
