Director of Data Science Role Overview

The Director of Data Science position is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for driving business growth through strategic data science initiatives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive data science roadmaps to drive business outcomes

  • Mentor and guide teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to inform product development initiatives related to data science

Mandated Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
  • At least 14 years of hands-on experience in applied machine learning, AI, and analytics
  • Proficiency in scientific programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, NoSQL, Spark, and ML tools & Cloud Technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and statistical concepts
  • Experience working with popular libraries like NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Scrapy, and BERT
