Database Administrator Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting database operations. Your responsibilities will include performance monitoring, query optimization, code deployments, access management, and database analysis.

You will be responsible for operating in Oracle and Exadata databases, re-platforming efforts, and ensuring smooth database operations. Your strong technical and communication skills will enable you to convey your findings and recommendations to large groups.

  • Support Ongoing Database Operations
  • Implement Data Loading Scripts
  • Optimize SQL Queries and Indexes
  • Develop Oracle Expertise
  • Utilize Programming/Development Skills
  • Perform Performance Tuning
  • Manage Database Objects
  • Monitor Database Performance
  • Coordinate with Data Architects and Analysts
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 5+ Years of Logical and Physical DBA Experience
  • Extensive Knowledge of Database Data Movement and Processing
  • Familiarity with JIRA Workflow Processes and Agile Methodology
  • Working Experience with TOAD or Oracle SQL Developer
  • Excellent Communication and Self-Motivation Skills
