Data Insights Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement an organization-wide data collection system, ensuring information accuracy and reliability, and establishing standardized reporting formats.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Collection and Analysis
  • Develop and execute data collection strategies to gather insights on business performance
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns
  • Design and implement data visualization tools to communicate findings effectively
Process Improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to enhance business operations
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of process improvements
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in data analysis, data visualization, and data gathering techniques using Python
    • Strong ability to write basic to advanced SQL queries
    • Experience with REST APIs and shell scripting
  • Educational Background
    • 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student in Computer Science or a related field
  • Prior Experience
    • Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
