Financial Accuracy Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accuracy Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner
  • Meet invoice delivery deadlines and ensure seamless financial processes
  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing systems and submit electronically
  • Understand key areas of invoicing specific to customers and maintain high levels of accuracy
  • Verify each field on invoices before submission to ensure data integrity
  • Ensure supporting documents and backups are attached to invoices for easy reference
  • Monitor and update invoice submission status in real-time
  • Maintain accurate logs of invoice submissions and customer interactions
  • Collaborate with payroll and invoicing teams to optimize the invoice submission process
  • Send out statements of accounts to customers in a professional manner
  • Reconcile self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets, resolve billing/payment mismatches, and maintain Accounts Receivable hygiene
  • Handle invoice rejections and credit/rebill efficiently
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the complete invoicing process, ensuring account-wise consistency and timeliness
  • Provide ongoing support for improving invoicing platforms and processes
  • Assist Credit Control in invoicing and collection of payments

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in invoicing and finance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, V-lookup, Pivot Tables)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
