We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Operations Manager to spearhead our logistics initiatives.

  • Focusing on efficient transportation models and control tower operations is crucial for success in this role.
  • Developing and implementing distribution metrics for all channels/lines of business will drive growth and productivity.
  • Improving logistics efficiency and reducing costs through effective implementation and savings strategies is essential for long-term sustainability.
  • Driving productivity and cost savings in primary freight and secondary freight operations will have a significant impact on the organization's bottom line.
  • Collaborating with the central supply chain planning team to ensure service levels, LFR, and QFR is vital for seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee the national transportation of frozen and chilled goods, identify cost-saving opportunities in cold chain logistics, and ensure compliance with temperature control and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance freight and transportation efficiency, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Build and implement processes for primary and secondary transportation for domestic movements for frozen, chilled, and dry goods, prioritizing safety and reliability.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for transportation activities, ensuring consistency and quality across all operations.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and implement strategies to optimize utilization, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
  • Manage all transportation-related bills and payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transportation invoices and payments, maintaining a high level of transparency and accountability.
