About Senior Data Engineer Role:

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using big data technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating efficient ETL pipelines utilizing big data technologies such as pySpark, Hadoop, and Hive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Pipeline Design and Development: Design and develop scalable data pipelines to support increasing data volume and complexity.
  • Integration Testing: Perform integration testing of different created pipelines in cloud environment.
  • Project Planning and Estimation: Provide estimates for development, testing & deployments on different environments.
  • Code Review and Compliance: Participate in code peer reviews to ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Data Analysis and Troubleshooting: Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in resolution.
Requirements:
  • Big Data Technologies Expertise: 4 years of experience with big data technologies - pySpark, Hadoop, and Hive.
  • Programming Skills: Good hands-on experience with Python and Bash Scripts.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, data analysis and research skills.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Cloud Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud platform provided big data technologies.
  • Orchestration and Scheduling: Orchestration with Airflow and any job scheduler experience.
