Job Title: Tax Advisory Manager

We are seeking a skilled Tax Advisory Manager to provide strategic guidance on tax benefits and compliance.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Structuring assignments and policies from a tax perspective to optimize tax benefits for employers and employees.
  • Conducting entry and exit meetings with expatriates, assisting with local registrations, and preparing/filing personal tax returns.
  • Providing advisory services on setting up liaison offices, visa requirements, and social security compliance.
  • Understanding tax treaties and applying relevant articles in finalizing personnel tax returns/advisory work.
  • Developing tax-efficient compensation packages, including advising on domestic and cross-border employee stock option plans.
  • Assisting clients with payroll/withholding tax compliance and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Providing visa-related advisory assistance to employees and ensuring seamless relocation processes.
  • Maintaining periodical reviews of filing/documents from an internal review perspective.
  • Contributing to knowledge management presentations/articles on related subjects and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tax expertise: Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, with experience in structuring tax-efficient arrangements.
  • Compliance: Ability to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with tax authorities.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively advise clients and team members.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills to coach/guide team members and build strong relationships with key client contacts.
