Key Roles and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of taxation professionals to provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients. This includes advising on efficient tax strategies, assisting in providing transaction advisory, and handling cross-border and domestic transactions.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies that minimize tax liabilities for clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of deals
  • Provide expert guidance on optimal deal structures and business restructuring options
  • Manage Liberalised Remittance Scheme, Overseas Direct Investment, Overseas Portfolio Investment, and India Inbound/Outbound tax matters
  • Offer insights on Merger and Acquisition tax, restructuring, pre- and post-IPO listing tax implications

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in core taxation advisory roles
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Professional qualifications: Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary
  • Excellent interpersonal and advisory skills
  • A passion for adding long-term value through tax strategy
