Job Description:

At Why Global Services, we are seeking a skilled PHP Laravel Developer to join our team. As a PHP Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the PHP Laravel framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using PHP Laravel framework.
  • Collaborate with the development team to define design and ship new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following Laravel best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues in existing applications.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Stay updated with the latest Laravel releases and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a PHP Laravel Developer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of PHP and the Laravel framework.
  • Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with database systems such as MySQL.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Good understanding of version control systems, preferably Git, Docker.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel).
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks/libraries (e.g., React.js).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean.
  • Contribution to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities.
