Backend Software Engineer

We're looking for a talented software engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and sustainable technology products and solutions. You will collaborate with local teams and partner teams to deliver high-quality applications that meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and test new systems from the ground up with minimal support.
  • Collaborate with local teams and partner teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Conform to quality standards and ensure engineering teams meet production SLAs of applications/systems.
  • Identify performance issues and optimize solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ yrs. professional experience in practice area including Java/spring boot, design patterns, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Postgres SQL, CD/CD, GitHub, Jenkins, Kafka, Agile methodology, Test frameworks.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns, synchronous/asynchronous processing and error handling patterns with spring boot, experience building web services and integrations with message driven architecture.
