Highway Infrastructure Design Expert

Lead project teams and contribute expertise to world-class projects, developing technical designs and delivery models for various highway upgrades, rural roads, and urban roads projects.

  • Technical Skills:
    • Understand engineering standards, codes of practice, local authorities' guidelines, and offer new ideas to improve solutions and processes.
    • Lead Functional teams or Projects.
    • Author competent technical reports of acceptable technical and presentational quality.
    • Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend best practices.
    • Develop broad technical competence and check work of all team members.
  • Soft Skills:
    • 10+ years of proven highway design experience with software proficiency in Open Roads Designer or Civil3D.
    • Proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation, PDS Signs, PDS Lines, Auto Track, MS Word, and MS Excel.
    • Working knowledge of CDE platform (Common Data Environment) i.e., ProjectWise, ACC, or BIM360.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical competence in detailed highways geometry design using Civil 3D/Open Road Designer.
  • Responsible for leading multi-disciplinary project delivery and performing as design manager.
  • Clear understanding of work procedures and ability to brief project team on them.
  • Assist in the leadership of functional teams or projects.
  • Communicate with counterparts and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams on project delivery.
  • Estimate pricing associated with projects within area of expertise.
  • Self-discipline and manage own daily work allocation as well as team members.

Qualifications:

BE Degree in Civil Engineering / Post-Graduation in Transportation/Highway Engineering. 10+ years' experience in highway engineering design.
