Software Tester Position Overview

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Tester located in Mysuru, India. The primary responsibility of the Software Tester will be to execute test cases and ensure quality assurance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies to identify defects and ensure software meets required standards.
  • Contribute to developing automated test suites using proficiency with automation frameworks such as Playwright/Selenium/Reqnroll.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality delivery and resolve issues.
  • Identify areas for enhancement and implement changes to improve testing processes.
  • Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in Test Execution and creating Test Cases, preferably with automation tools.
  • Proficiency in Software Testing and Quality Assurance processes, including project management and bug tracking.

Core Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and independently.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for quality and strong analytical skills.

Technical Skills

  • Strong GitHub knowledge for version control.
  • Postman experience for API testing and validation.
  • Solid understanding of API testing concepts.
