We're looking for a skilled professional to join our team in the role of Automation Tester. The ideal candidate will have experience in development and automation testing, with a strong focus on Python.

Job Description

In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing automated tests using Python and popular frameworks such as pytest and Selenium. You'll also work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to our testing processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and popular testing frameworks
  • Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to our testing processes
  • Design and execute test plans to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to automation testing
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in development and automation testing
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Python
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and at least 1 year of experience working on projects that integrate GenAI capabilities (e.g., using OpenAI APIs)
  • Proficiency in tools like pytest and Selenium
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins (experience with Helios and GitHub Actions is a plus)
  • Understanding of end-to-end enterprise systems, including integrations, APIs, databases, and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
  • Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning abilities
  • Experience in capital markets is an asset to possess
