We are seeking a skilled laboratory professional to fill this role at our organization.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing results, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests to identify and diagnose various medical conditions.
  • Handle, store, and process biological samples with precision and care.
  • Maintain and ensure proper calibration of lab equipment to guarantee accurate results.
  • Record and analyze test results accurately and efficiently.
  • Follow established safety and quality control protocols to prevent errors and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support senior pathologists and lab staff in diagnostic work by providing expert technical assistance and guidance.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Prior experience in a diagnostic laboratory setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing laboratory tasks is essential.
  • Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements is necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines is crucial.
