Business Analyst Job Opportunity

Deloitte is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data-driven projects, such as migration, validation, and system integration within banking risk domains.

### Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support data migration and validation projects for banking risk systems.
  • Ability to trace data lineage, mapping tables and understand the impact of data on reports.
  • Understand, interpret, and communicate complex system logic, workflows, and business rules.
  • Identify data defects, inconsistencies, and operational gaps across systems, recommending solutions.
  • Analyze and reconcile large, complex data sets related to banking risk, to generate actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business, risk, and IT teams to gather requirements, create documentation (BRD/FRD), and deliver business insights.
  • Perform root cause analysis for data-related issues and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Develop and automate reports and dashboards utilizing advanced queries, Excel formulas, macros, and automation.

### Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel advanced functions, macros, and automation.
  • Domain expertise in banking risk, asset-liability management, and/or other banking modules.
  • Strong ability to interpret system logic, identify root causes of defects, and communicate solutions.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, information systems, or a related field.
  • Good communication skills with prior experience in banking (Preferred).

### Preferred

  • Experience in regulatory reporting, database migration, or system transformation projects within banking.
  • Familiarity with Basel regulations governing the ALM/Liquidity in a global banking setup.
  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks, treasury systems, and business intelligence tools.
