Job Title: Senior Biostatistician

About the Role:
  • As a senior biostatistician, you will supervise and direct the work of biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers on clinical research studies.
  • You will provide expert consultation to projects across the organization on statistical methodology.
  • Solving complex statistical problems and providing technical review of proposed statistical designs for research studies is key to this role.
  • Leading study project teams in developing analysis plans and statistical programs is also an essential responsibility.
  • To ensure the scientific integrity of research projects and accuracy of reported results, staying up-to-date with current statistical and medical literature is crucial.
  • Developing sample size calculations and leading the statistical design of research projects is another key aspect of this role.
Key Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field (or PhD) is required.
  • At least 4 years of related experience (MS) or 1 year of related experience (PhD) is necessary.
  • Experience with methodological statistical research, including publication and/or presentation of work in statistical methods development, is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with statistical methods and applications in clinical research is essential.
