Lead Global Design Team

This role involves leading a global design team to drive innovation and excellence. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical knowledge and experience in managing complex engineering projects.

  1. Leverage expertise on different Airbus programs, with focus on metallic and composite design, fuselage, wing, empennage, control surfaces, and structures.
  2. Develop and maintain knowledge on Airbus methods and procedures, as well as aerospace stress activities, ATA chapters, and technical measures at each stage with metrics.
  3. Apply technical skills to product design, plant engineering, repair activities, tool design, Mfg. engineering, manufacturing, MROs, aerospace systems ES, MSI, and other related areas.
  4. Conduct detailed technical write-ups and effort estimations for technical proposals, ensuring clear understanding of design regulatory requirements and FAR 21 G, FAR 21 J, and other Supplementary Type Certifications and its Requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring signatory delegation process (SDP) as per A1020/M1020 requirements.
  • Reviewing WPL recommendations/requests on DOA scope, reviewing nominee's necessary qualification, and ensuring deliverables meeting design requirements.
  • Coordinating with QA Department on process compliances/requirements, improving quality metrics, and maintaining nominees/signatories data trackers.
  • Supporting HOE in ensuring design organization requirements during technical audits, technical proposals preparation, and developing technical skills on new areas.
