Job Opportunity:

  • Core Competencies: We are seeking a highly skilled professional with hands-on experience in the IBM AS/400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming.
  • Proficient in Integrated Language Environment (ILE) and experienced in creating and debugging RPG/CL programs, as well as proficient in SEU, PDM, DFU, and Spool files.
  • Able to create Sub-procedures, Subroutines, and Service Programs, leveraging their knowledge of iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS).
  • Familiarity with Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript is a bonus, allowing them to contribute to cutting-edge projects.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and interpersonal skills, enabling them to handle client requirements, create design documents, and facilitate successful project delivery and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create efficient solutions using RPGLE programming and Integrated Language Environment.
  • Develop and debug complex programs utilizing SEU, PDM, DFU, and Spool files.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and deliver exceptional results.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring seamless onboarding and meeting project objectives.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior developers, promoting growth and development within the team.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in IBM AS/400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming.
  • Proficient in Integrated Language Environment (ILE) and experienced in creating and debugging RPG/CL programs.
  • Expertise in SEU, PDM, DFU, and Spool files.
  • Knowledge of iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS).
  • Bonus skills: Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
