We're seeking a skilled API Architect to join our team. As an API architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing APIs that meet the needs of our customers.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly motivated individual who has experience with API management tools and architectures. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining APIs that are scalable, secure, and easy to use.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement APIs using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop APIs that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain API documentation, including API specifications, developer guides, and usage examples.
  • Analyze API usage data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to improve our API offerings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with API management tools and architectures.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture principles, and agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with API gateways, API security, and rate limiting.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
