Financial Operations Director

The Financial Operations Director is a senior-level position responsible for leading the finance and administrative operations of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and manage accounting systems, processes, and reporting procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Monitor expenses, budgets, and cash flow to support sustainable business operations, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective financial coordination and planning.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Oversee employee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage tax obligations, including TDS and GST (if applicable), and other statutory filings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and ensure all regulatory registers are up-to-date.
Insurance and Risk Management:
  • Lead the procurement, review, and renewal of essential business insurance policies, covering third-party injury or property damage risk, cybersecurity risks, and data breach liability.
Financial Instruments and Banking Infrastructure:
  • Establish and maintain banking relationships, ensuring optimal account structures for operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compatibility with accounting platforms, including direct bank feeds.
Procurement and Office Operations:
  • Manage the procurement of IT equipment, software licenses, and office supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Administrative Leadership and Record-Keeping:
  • Develop and maintain internal administrative policies and workflows.
  • Oversee documentation of employee records, contracts, lease agreements, and regulatory filings.
