Job Title: Director of Financial Data Management

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Financial Data Management to oversee the transformation of our finance and accounting processes. This role will involve simplifying and automating current processes in a shared service environment, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities.

  • Create and implement data management strategies to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain master data systems for vendors, customers, materials, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate data from legacy systems to new platforms.
  • Analyze and optimize financial data processing workflows.
  • Develop and implement data quality assessments and remediation strategies.
  • Implement data stewardship processes to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
  • Work with IT teams to design and implement system interactions for seamless data exchange.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial data management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial data management, preferably with SAP.
  • In-depth knowledge of data migration strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
